A line chart is a form of graphical representation of data in the form of lines. Depending on the data being investigated, the line may be either straight or curved.
A line chart is ideal for the following cases:
Display how the data is changing through time. Especially, how much has been changed over a period of time?
The number of categorical values in the dimension is over 8
Too many data points or columns to plot
The line chart portrays revenue trends over time, presenting a continuous visual representation of how revenue has evolved or fluctuated across different periods, enabling a comprehensive analysis of the revenue trajectory.
