A heat map chart is a data table using colors to represent data values. The value determines the color of each cell in the table. This chart is useful when visualizing large and complex data.
A heat map chart is ideal when you need to indicate the categorical variable's value in the corresponding cell range by each cell's color.
The heat map chart visually portrays the revenue distribution across different item types over time, using color intensity to represent the revenue levels, allowing businesses to quickly identify trends, patterns, and fluctuations in revenue by item types across different time periods, facilitating effective analysis and decision-making regarding sales strategies and product performance.
